Our Preschool program at St. Joseph is a place for children to realize their place in God's world. We are strong in the areas of nurturing, learning by doing, encouraging creativity and inquisitiveness, sharing and caring. We learn to live by Christian values; emphasizing kindness, consideration, and courtesy.

Our room is set up in a learning center/activity style, which encourages the development of children three to five years old. We work on small-motor, large-motor, language and readiness skills, and techniques that will smooth transition to Kindergarten.

We also work with letters, numbers, and words through our centers, our daily calendar, our stories, poems, songs, and rhymes. Every month we have a new theme. We incorporate the themes into our centers. We take walking field trips in the neighborhood, and have special visitors here at school. We have fun!
