Saint Joseph Regional School
Welcome to
Saint Joseph
Regional School
Small class sizes focused on academic excellence,
service, faith and family.
For over 130 years, Saint Joseph Regional School (SJRS) has been welcoming families of all faiths from the entire Monadnock Region of southwest New Hampshire.

Founded in 1886 by Saint Bernard Parish as a parochial school, the first students were welcomed by the Sisters of Mercy who worked as the faculty and staff.
We serve students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 at SJRS, and are thrilled to share a campus with our sister school, Our Lady of Mercy Academy, which serves students in Grades 9-12.
With over 200 students, our Catholic
school promotes high academic standards and positive self-esteem, encourage personal responsibility and public service, and instill a strong sense of community, family and faith. Our schools are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Our alumni have been among the valedictorians and salutatorians at Monadnock region high schools on numerous occasions throughout the years.

SJRS graduates have continued on to many well-respected private independent schools throughout the northeast, including Deerfield Academy, St. Paul's School, Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Exeter Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon, Bishop Brady, Bishop Guertin, Vermont Academy, Holderness School, Eaglebrook School, Dublin School, Tabor Academy, La Salle Academy, and The Winchendon School.

And now our graduates have the opportunity to continue their high school education with us on our own campus by attending Our Lady of Mercy Academy.
