Dear SJRS Families,

 

The State of New Hampshire requires that all schools go through three rounds of water testing to check for lead. This is a one-time requirement that we completed in September.  We received notice on Friday that two of our non-drinking sinks contain small amounts of lead. 

 

By State guidelines, we must inform families and, of course, remediate the two sinks. 

 

The sinks are not for drinking, only hand washing, and in staff areas that are not used by students, with signs posted to this effect.

 

We will keep families posted for when this is remediated and retested.
